Hibernian derives from the Latin term Hibernia, which means “one who comes from Ireland” or “cold, wet land.” The Hibernian pubs were aptly named, as we wanted to bring a bit of Ireland to the Triangle.
Established in 2000, with two locations in Raleigh and Cary, our pubs offer a unique atmosphere that caters to people from all walks of life. In the true tradition of Irish public houses, we welcome individuals, families and groups to talk, debate, sing, laugh, drink and eat. Whether you’re stopping in for happy hour or to relax and enjoy a great meal, the pubs will make you feel at home.
Both Hibernian locations feature free wireless internet access, areas to host private events, and daily specials. Whether you come with a group or by yourself, you’ll always feel like a local in our pub.
You’ll find us at 311 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh NC 27603 and 1144 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary NC 27511. We’re open daily from 11:00am to 2:00am, so come visit soon!
