About The Hibernian Pub
Hibernian derives from the Latin term Hibernia, which means “one who comes from Ireland” or “cold, wet land.” The Hibernian pubs were aptly named, as we wanted to bring a bit of Ireland to the Triangle.
Established in 2000, the downtown Raleigh location suffered a devastating fire on December 26, 2012, and has now reopened their doors to Glenwood Avenue! The Cary location, established in 2003, remains open and another Hibernian pub opened its doors in March 2013 in North Raleigh.
Our pubs offer a unique atmosphere that caters to people from all walks of life. In the true tradition of Irish public houses, we welcome individuals, families and groups to talk, debate, sing, laugh, drink and eat. Whether you’re stopping in for happy hour or to relax and enjoy a great meal, the pubs will make you feel at home.
Our Hibernian locations feature free wireless internet access, areas to host private events, and daily specials. Whether you come with a group or by yourself, you’ll always feel like a local in our pub.
You’ll find us at 311 Glenwood Ave in Raleigh, NC 27603, 1144 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary NC 27511 and 8021 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, NC 27615. We’re open daily from 11:00am to 2:00am, so come visit soon!
Valet parking is now available at our North Raleigh location from Wednesday to Saturday night and Sunday brunch.
